How To Grow A Business?

I think a lot of photographers, and entrepreneurs in general, will ask themselves the question "how do I grow my business?" As a young photographer who is still fairly new to the market in NYC, I know I personally ask myself this question on a daily bases. There is a lot of uncertainty when it comes to building a business. However, I was very lucky to have grown up with two very strong parents who both owned their own business. Some of the main take aways I have gotten from them in terms of what they did to grow their business was...

1) Never be afraid to put yourself out there. Everything is an opportunity to sell and talk about your business.

2) You never know who you're gonna meet and where you're going to meet them.

3) The amount of work you put into your business will directly how much you get out of it.

4) There are going to be slow times in your business, and thats ok. It makes you appreciate and work harder during the busy times.

5)) Just keep going, never give up.

A new goal I have set for myself is to tell 5 people everyday about my photography business. What will your daily goal be?
