About Me:

Hello, my name is Samantha and I am the person behind the camera with SJDalton Photography. I am a based out of the NYC area and specialize in portrait, wedding, and engagement photography! However, I am more then just a photographer! I am here to make you laugh through the awkward moments, relax when nerves kick in, and celebrate the real emotions that make your story yours. With me you will never feel stiff or staged, just yourself in beautiful light with timeless photos to look back on!

To tell you a little about how I got started- SJDalton Photography originated in the state of Maine, and coming from more of a small town, I really enjoy bringing the calmness and intricacy of small town living to my shoots here in NYC. During my shoots I like to create a space for my clients to slow down, be in the moment, and feel authentically themselves. There is something so amazing about watching someone agree to spend the rest of their life with the person they love, light up in a photo, or seeing a family truly come together.
