There is such a wide variety of photography specialties sometimes it can be hard to decide which avenue to take. Oddly enough, when I first started out I focused a lot of pet photography. I took pictures of all of my family and friend's pets and had so much fun going through and editing the photos! That being said, I later discovered my love for portrait photography! Portrait photography itself includes a wide range of specialities such as individual, business, model, couples or family portraits to name a few. I later started breaking into the event photography world which was a big adjustment because there is so much more that goes into it. I have photographed weddings, baby showers, bar/bat Mitzvahs, even a viewing party for the Oscars which was one of my particular favorites. I also have friends who specialize in landscape/travel photography and take the most beautiful pictures from all around the world. Additionally, there are other photographers who specialize in real estate photography and get to use some really cool equipment like drones to capture their images. There is also food and retail photography which are both very popular especially on social media and general advertising. The point is, photography allows you to get so creative and find what it is that you truly love to do. What is your favorite type of photography to shoot?
