Client Reach Outs

It is important as a business owner to always keep your current clients in the loop of what is going on in your business while also always making goals to gain new clients as well. There are many different ways to reach out and gain more clientele as a business owner, and a few things I have done personally include:

1) A twice monthly promotional email that allows my clients to see any deals and discounts I may be offering.

2) I make social media post multiple times a week advertising my photography services.

3) I have gone to local small businesses and seen if they will let me display my business cards

4) I have gone to local parks and handed out cards to people there.

5) Lastly, I respond to any post I see on social media of people looking for a photographer.

When I finally do get in touch with a new potential client I always make sure to ask them first and foremost what they are looking for in a photographer. For example, what kind of shoot, how many people, how long of a shoot are they looking for, and what kind of style are they going for. After that I always ask if they have a specific budget in mind so I can point them towards which package of mine would most likely fit best for them. Client reach outs can be intimidating and every photographer has their own way of talking to new clients, but this is just a sneak peak into what client reach outs look like for my photography business.
