How To Get Clients To Book With You Again

One of the biggest goals for me as a photographer is to make sure that my clients are walking away happy from their shoot and with the results I send them. This is super important to me because when these clients need a photographer in the future I want them to have me in the forefront of their mind. Having regular clients that will book with you yearly is such an important aspect to any photographer's business, and you would think it would be as easy as just doing a good job during a shoot. However, there are a few specific things you can do to increase the chances that your client will book with you again.
1) Offer a discount or incentive to returning clients. For example, for past clients of mine I always offer an extra edited photo with their package. However, you could also offer a certain percentage off of your regular shoot price.
2) Reach out to them. If you know that your client booked a fall photoshoot last year, reach out to them again in the fall and see if they would like to rebook. You can also send a promotional email reminding them that you are offering fall photoshoots.
3) Lastly, I always make sure to prioritize returning clients when it comes to booking.
After implementing some of these things I started to notice that I had more and more clients rebooking with me when they needed a shoot. What are some things you have done to get returning clients?
